IN CASE OF EMERGENCY - Out of Hours
If you are a tenant with a maintenance emergency out of hours, please text 07534 525132 with your name, address, contact telephone number and a brief description of the issue. A member of staff will get back to you shortly after and following that communication SPA will make any necessary arrangements with landlords and/or local contractors, if required to help resolve the issue in the quickest possible time. Please bear in mind that out of hours reports may take more time than usual to arrange; this can be due to availability of contractors, timing of report for example – we understand any maintenance issue may cause frustration and be inconvenient, so please be assured we will work as swiftly as possible and ask for your patience at this time. Tenants will be kept updated and informed throughout.
Please note that Contractors will not have keys to any property, so should a visit be required tenants will be expected to be at the property to provide access. Tenants will be informed of who to expect and with permission from both parties, contact details can be shared so tenants can liaise with Contractors directly if need be to arrange access. A member of SPA staff will be on hand to assist and provide updates.
Any out of hours call outs that are not deemed to be an emergency will be charged to the tenant. Please use your judgement and when contacted to take time to provide as much information as possible, answering questions clearly. This will help ascertain whether the issue is an emergency or not. Thank you.
